How much does it cost to hire a full SpeedTape kit?
Hiring a full SpeedTape kit will involve payment of a deposit of £969.00 and rental of £122.10 + VAT per 30 day period.
How long do I have to hire for?
The minimum hire period is 60 days.
Do I get my deposit back after this period?
Yes, deposits are returned when the hire period is finished and the tools are back with us in acceptable condition.
Can I add items at a later date?
Any additional tools can be added at any time as long as a deposit is paid and the hire agreement is signed.
Do I have to hire the full kit or can I just have individual items?
The choice is up to the individual. Any combination of tools can be hired, from a single item up to a full kit.
How do I hire tools?
Either fill in the enquiry form or call 0800 032 6345 and choose option 3.
How long will it take to open an account?
An account takes about a week to open.
When will I get MY tools?
When the account is opened, we will contact you to arrange the first payment for the first month's rental and deposit. When this payment is received, we then despatch the tools to you on a next day service.
How do I pay for my deposit?
Customers can either:
- order and pay using our online process
- send a cheque for the full amount along with their application
- pay by credit/debit card on the day the account opening is organised
Do you provide repairs?
We provide a comprehensive exchange service for all hire tools in need of repair. Normally tools can be repaired and returned to the hirer within five days of receipt.
A free repair service is also available for tools that have been purchased and are under warranty.
For tools that are not under warranty, a very competitive and responsive repair service is offered.
Is there a charge for any exchanges?
There is no charge for exchanges at all. We will send the replacement tool out on the provision that the customer will arrange to have the old one collected within a week of receiving the new one.
Do we have to pay carriage?
There are no carriage charges, other than at the start and end of the hire period.
